Swimming day
1. Ar wely Cyw roedd ei siwt nofio, gogyls, bandiau braich a thywel gwyrdd newydd yn barod i fynd i’r bag. Roedd hi’n ddiwrnod mynd i nofio heddiw.
On Cyw's bed were her swimsuit, goggles, armbands and her brand new green towel ready to go into her bag. They were going swimming today.
2. Roedd pawb o’r criw yn hoffi nofio. Roedd Plwmp yn hoffi sblasio a Jangl yn hoff i plymio.
All of them enjoyed swimming. Plwb liked to splash, and Jangle liked to dive.
3. Roedd gan Llew gogyls doniol ac roedd Triog yn hoffi ymlacio ar yr ochr.
Llew had funny goggles, and Triog was enjoying relaxing on the side.
4. Roedd Bolgi a Deryn wedi dod â phêl i’r pwll nofio ac roedden nhw yn ei tharo’n uchel o’r dŵr.
Bolgi and Deryn had bought a ball to the swimming pool, and they were throwing it high out of the water.
5. Ond pan ddaeth hi’n amser sychu a newid, roedd gan Cyw broblem. Allai hi ddim dod o hyd i’w thywel newydd. Doedd ei thywel ddim yn ei bag a doedd neb arall yn ei ddefnyddio.
But when time came to dry and change, Cyw had a problem. She couldn't find her new towel. The towel wasn't in her bag, and nobody else was using it either.
6. Tywel melyn oedd gan Plwmp a Deryn. Tywel glas gan Llew a Bolgi a thywel coch gan Jangl a Triog.
Plwmp and Deryn had yellow towels. Bolgi and Llew had blue ones, and Jangl and Triog had red ones.
7. Ond ble roedd y tywel gwyrdd? Doedd dim sôn amdano yn y locer newid chwaith.
But where was the green towel? There was no sign of it in the changing locker either.
8. Roedd Cyw yn wlyb ac yn oer. Cafodd fenthyg tywel melyn Deryn i sychu. “Diolch,” meddai Cyw.
Cyw was wet and cold. She borrowed Deryn's yellow towel to dry. "Thank you" said Cyw.
9. Roedd Cyw ychydig bach yn drist ar y ffordd adref. Roedd hi wedi colli ei thywel newydd hardd.
Cyw was a little sad on the way home. She had lost her new pretty towel.
10. Ond pan gyrhaeddodd adref, beth oedd ar ei gwely wedi ei blygu’n daclus? Y tywel gwyrdd!
But when she arrived home, what was on her bed folded nicely? The green towel!

Edrycha ar y lluniau a'r geiriau, ac yna darllena'r stori. Bob tro y gweli di un o'r lluniau yn y stori, dyweda'r gair yn uchel.
Look at the pictures and words, and then read the story. Everytime you see a picture in the story, say the word aloud.
Roedd Cyw wedi cael gwaith cartref o'r ysgol.
Cyw had some homework from school.
Roedd yn rhaid iddi ysgrifennu cerdd am un o'i ffrindiau.
She had to write a poem about one of her friends.
Gallai hi ysgrifennu cerdd am Bolgi neu am Plwmp ... roedd ganddi lawer o ffrindiau.
She could write a poem about Bolgi or about Plwmp ... she had a lot of friends.
Yna, meddyliodd am Dewi'r Deinosor. "Dyna syniad da", meddai.
Then, she thought of Dewi the Dinosaur. "That's a godd idea", she said.
Lliw gwyrdd yw corff Dewi'r Deinosor. Ond gwyrdd fel beth?
Dewi the Dinosaur's body is green. But green like what?
Aeth i edrych drwy'r ffenest. Gwyrdd fel deilen, neu wyrdd fel porfa/gwair?
She went to look through the window. Grren like a leaf, or green like grass?
Gwelodd feic Bolgi a'r helmed yn hongian. Gwyrdd fel helmed beic Bolgi?
She saw Bolgi's bike, with the helmet hanging. Green like Bolgi's helmet?
Yna, sylwodd ar y llysiau oed yn tyfu yn yr ardd. Gwyrdd fel ciwcymbr?
Then, she noticed the vegetables growing in the garden. Green like cucumber?

But there wasn't anything exactly the same colour as Dewi. Dewi the Dinosaur, greeen like ... a dinosaur, thought Cyw!
