Playing a game
1. Roedd hi’n ddiwrnod gwlyb a stormus. Roedd Cyw a’i ffrindiau yn y tŷ. Doedddim posib mynd allan i chwarae.
1. It was a wet and stormy day. Cyw and her friends were in the house. It wasn't possible to go out to play.
“Beth am chwarae Gêm Sardîns?” meddai Cyw. Ond doedd Bolgi ddim yn gwybod sut i chwarae Gêm Sardîns.
How about playing the Sardines Game? said Cyw. But Bolgi didn't know how to play the Sardines Game.
2. “Mae un yn mynd i guddio a phawb yn chwilio. Os ydyn ni’n dod o hyd i’r un sy’n cuddio, rhaid i ni guddio hefyd, a gwasgu i’r un guddfan!”
2. “One of us goes to hide and the rest of us look for them. Whoever finds the one who is hiding, must also hide, and squeeze into the same hiding place!”
Roedd hynny’n swnio’n hwyl, meddyliodd Bolgi. Aeth Llew i guddio’n gyntaf.
That sounded like fun, thought Bolgi. Llew went to hide first.
Caeodd pawb arall eu llygaid a chyfri i ddeg. Aeth Llew i guddio y tu ôl i’r soffa.
Everyone else closed their eyes and counted to ten. Llew went to hide behind the sofa.
3. “Barod neu beidio, dyma ni’n dod!” bloeddiodd Cyw. Yna, aeth pawb i chwilio. Aeth Plwmp, Deryn a Cyw i fyny’r grisiau.
3. "Ready or not, here we come!" Cyw shouted. Then, everyone went to search. Plwmp, Deryn and Cyw went upstairs.
4. Aeth Jangl a Triog i’r gegin ond aeth Bolgi i’r cyfeiriad arall. Aeth Bolgi i’r ystafell fyw.
4. Jangl and Triog went to the kitchen but Bolgi went in the other direction. Bolgi went into the living room.
5. Roedd Bolgi’n gwybod yn iawn lle roedd hoff guddfan Llew - y tu ôl i’r soffa. Daeth Bolgi o hyd i Llew yn syth.
5. Bolgi knew very well where Llew's favourite hiding place was - behind the sofa. Bolgi found Llew immediately.
6. “Tyrd i guddio,” meddai Llew gan wneud lle i Bolgi. Cuddiodd y ddau yn dawel bach nes clywed Triog a Jangl yn dod i mewn.
6. "Come and hide," said Llew, making room for Bolgi. They both hid quietly until they heard Triog and Jangl coming in.
Roedd Bolgi a Llew eisiau chwerthin.
Bolgi and Llew wanted to laugh.
7. Daeth Jangl a Triog o hyd i’r ddau ac roedd rhaid i’r pedwar wasgu gyda’i gilydd y tu ôl i’r soffa.
7. Jangl and Triog found them both and the four had to squeeze together behind the sofa.
Roedd mwy o chwerthin a phawb yn ceisio’u gorau i fod yn dawel.
There was more laughter and everyone tried their best to be quiet.
8. Roedd Cyw wedi dod i lawr y grisiau ac yn chwilio yn y cwpwrdd o dan y grisiau pan glywodd hi’r chwerthin.
8. Cyw had come downstairs and was looking in the cupboard under the stairs when she heard the laughter.
9. Daeth Cyw o hyd iddyn nhw! Roedd rhaid i Cyw wasgu mewn atyn nhw hefyd, a phawb yn dynn fel sardîns mewn tun.
9. Cyw found them! Cyw had to squeeze in to join them, and everyone was as tightly packed as sardines in a tin.
Dim ond lle bach iawn oedd ar ôl i rywun arall. Roedd Plwmp a Deryn ar eu ffordd i lawr y grisiau i chwilio yn yr ystafell fyw. Ond pwy fyddai’n dod o hyd iddyn nhw gyntaf tybed? A phwy fyddai’n ffitio yn y guddfan? Plwmp neu Deryn?
There was only a very small place left for someone else. Plwmp and Deryn were on their way downstairs to search in the living room. But who would find them first? And who would fit in the hideout? Plwmp or Deryn?

Hello. I'm Nyfayn. I live in Carmarthenshire.
Dw i’n dwlu ar ddathlu popeth am Gymru a Tsieina. Dyma f i yn fy ngwisg Gymreig ar ddydd Gŵyl Dewi.
I love celebrating everything about Wales and China. This is me in my Welsh costume on St David's Day.

I like to roll the dough. We put meat in the dough, then Mum helps us cook it. Mmm, delicious!

I love painting pictures! Every year we celebrate the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, when there is a full moon in the sky.

We paint pictures and make lanterns. Lanterns bring light and are beautiful.

Roedd criw Cyw am gael parti Nadolig yn nhy Cyw. Roedd pawb am wisgo gwisg ffansi. Roedd Jangl am wisgo fel coeden Nadolig.
Cyw and her friends wanted to have a Christmas party at Cyw's house. Everyone wanted to wear fancy dress. Jangl wanted to dress up as a Christmas tree.
Roedd Deryn am wisgo fel pwdin Nadolig bach ac roedd Plwmp am wisgo fel pwdin Nadolig mawr. Roedd Bolgi a Llew am wisgo fel dwy anrheg a Triog am wisgo fel cracer. Ond doedd Cyw ddim yn gwybod beth i'w wisgo.
Deryn wanted to dress as a small Christmas pudding and Plwmp wanted to dress as a large Christmas pudding. Bolgi and Llew wanted to dress as two presents and Triog wanted to dress as a cracker. But Cyw didn't know what to wear.
"Beth am wisgo fel Siôn Corn?' cynigiodd Bolgi. Ond doedd dim siwt Siôn Corn ar ôl yn y siop.
What about dressing up as Santa Claus?' offered Bolgi. But there was no Santa suit left in the shop.
"Beth am wisgo fel moron?" cynigiodd Llew, gan fod pawb yn bwyta moron i ginio Nadolig.
Why not dress like a carrot?" suggested Llew, as everyone eats carrots for Christmas dinner.
Ond doedd hynny ddim yn ddigon Nadoligaidd.
But that wasn't festive enough.
"Beth am wisgo tinsel?" cynigiodd Plwmp. Roedd yn syniad da. Ond roedd y tinsel yn cosi gormod.
Why not wear tinsel? offered Plwmp. It was a good idea. But the tinsel itched too much.
"Beth am wisgo fel dyn eira?" oedd cynnig Jangl. Syniad da, gallaf ddefnyddio gwlân cotwm, meddyliodd Cyw.
How about dressing up as a snowman? offered Jangl. Good idea, I can use cotton wool, thought Cyw.
Ond doedd dim gwlân cotwm ar ôl yn y ty. Yna, cafodd Triog syniad. "Mae hi'n amlwg beth ddylai Cyw wisgo! Dylai Cyw wisgo fel seren!"
But there was no cotton wool left in the house. Then, Triog had an idea. "It's obvious what Cyw should wear! Cyw should dress up as a star!"
Syniad da, meddyliodd pawb. Roedd Cyw yn seren wedi'r cyfan!
Good idea, everyone thought. Cyw was a star after all!
