Helo. Fy enw i yw Cyw. Croeso i'r cylchgrawn cyntaf. Hoffwn i chi gwrdd â fy ffrindiau.
Hello. My name's Cyw. Welcome to the first magazine. I'd like you to meet my friends.
1. Roedd hi'n ddiwrnod oer, ond roedd Llew a Cyw wedi penderfynu mynd am dro i'r traeth beth bynnag.
1. It was a cold day, but Llew and Cyw had decided to take a trip to the beach anyway.
2. Roedden nhw'n casglu cerrig a chregyn mewn bwced. Yn sydyn, gwelodd Llew siap rhywbeth yn y tywod.
2. They were collecting stones and shells in a bucket. Suddenly, Llew saw a shape in the sand.
3. "Edrych Cyw," meddai Llew, "mae rhywun wedi tynnu llinell yn y tywod." Dilynodd y ddau y llinell. Doedd hi ddim yn syth, roedd hi'n mynd ar dro.
3. "Look Cyw," said Llew, "someone's drawn a line in the sand." They both followed the line. It wasn't straight, it was curved.
4. "Siap hanner cylch sydd yma," meddai Llew wrth i'r ddau gamu nôl i edrych ar y siap.
4. "It's a semi circle shape," said Llew as they both stepped back to look at the shape.
5. Roedd Cyw wedi gweld y siap yma o'r blaen. Meddyliodd am ei henw a sylwi ar siap y llythyren gyntaf - 'C'.
5. Cyw had seen this shape before. She thought about her name and realised it was the shape of the first letter - 'C'.
6. "Siap llythyren 'C' sydd yn y tywod! 'C' am Cyw!" Roedd Cyw yn neidio i fyny ac i lawr yn hapus.
6. "It's the shape of the letter 'C' in the sand! 'C' for Cyw!" Cyw jumped up and down with glee.
7. Cafodd Llew syniad! Defnyddiodd y cerrig a'r cregyn yr oedd o a Cyw wedi eu casglu i wneud siap arall yn y tywod.
7. Llew had an idea! He used the stones and shells that he and Cyw collected to make another shape in the sand.
8. "Beth wyt ti'n wneud?" holodd Cyw. "Llythyren 'y'," atebodd. Dangosodd Llew y siap yn y tywod.
8. "What are you doing?" asked Cyw. "The letter 'y'," he answered. Llew showed the shape in the sand.
9. Sylweddolodd Cyw beth roedd Llew yn ei wneud ac aeth hi i gasglu gwymon.
9. Cyw realised what Llew was doing and went to collect some seaweed.
10. Aeth Cyw ati i osod y gwymon a gwneud siap llythyren 'w' drws nesaf i lythyren Llew.
10. Cyw busied herself by making the letter 'w' next to the letter Llew had made.
11. Wedi iddynt orffen, camodd y ddau nôl a gweld "C y w" ar y traeth. Roedd Cyw yn falch iawn o weld ei henw.
11. When they had finished, they stepped back and saw "C y w" on the beach. Cyw was very proud to see her name.

Roedd Bolgi wrthi'n paratoi picnic ar gyfer mynd i'r traeth. Yn y fasged rhoddodd frechdanau yn llawn caws a jam, dyma oedd ffefryn Jangl.
Bolgi was preparing a picnic for the beach. He put jam and cheese sandwiches in the basket, they were Jangl's favourite.
Yna rhoddodd chwech afal coch, dyma oedd ffefryn Llew.
Then he put in six red apples, they were Llew's favourite.
Roedd angen banana mawr i Plwmp a mefus bach i Deryn.
He needed a large banana for Plwmp and a small strawberry for Deryn.
Rhoddodd sudd oren a chwpan i bawb yn y fasged hefyd.
He put in orange juice and a cup each for everyone in the basket too.
Roedd un peth bach arall i'w roi... cacen siocled!
There was one thing left to add... a chocolate cake!
Roedd cacen siocled yn ffefryn gan bawb, yn enwedig Cyw.
Chocolate cake was everyone's favourite, especially Cyw.
Yn anffodus, ar y traeth roedd yr haul mor gryf nes bod y gacen siocled wedi toddi'n slwj.
Unfortunately, on the beach the sun was so strong that the cake turned to slush.
Ond doedd dim ots, aeth Cyw i nôl hufen iâ i bawb!
But never mind, Cyw got everyone an ice cream instead!

Rheolau Cystadleuaeth
Competition Rules
Mae'r gystadleuaeth yn agored i bawb ac eithio unigolion sy'n gyflogedig gan S4C, Boom Cymru (y Cwmni), Canolfan Peniarth, eu teuluoedd a chwmniau eraill sy'n gysylltiedig â'r gystadleuaeth.
The competition is open to all except for those employed by S4C, Boom Cymru (the Company), Canolfan Peniarth, their immediate families and companies directly involved with this competition.
Rhaid i ymgeiswyr fod o dan 16 oed i gystadlu.
Applicants must be under the age of 16 to compete.
I gystadlu mae'n rhaid e-bostio llun at [email protected].
Entrants must send a picture to [email protected]
Dewisir tri enillydd gan y criw cynhyrchu o blith yr enwau sydd wedi cysylltu i gystadlu erbyn y dyddiad a'r amser cau.
Three winners will be chosen by the production crew from the entries received by the closing date and time.
Ni fydd unrhyw geisiadau a wneir ar ôl y dyddiad a'r amser cau yn cael eu cynnwys yn y gystadleuaeth. Cyhoeddir enw'r enillwyr yn y rhifyn nesaf ym mis Medi.
No late entries will be included in the competition. The three winners will be named in the next magazine issue.
